Meet Larry Borne
Having grown up in Fort Worth, I have always enjoyed the Western culture, but luckily our family loved to make vacation trips to other states. We never traveled outside the United States, but my parents planted a seed in me that encouraged me to want to travel. We pulled a pop-up Nimrod trailer to visit my grandfather’s hometown of Thibobaux and later traversed the Midwestern states until we arrived in Glacier National Park. As my father drove, my mother would look at the AAA map to find interesting side trips for us to see.
I later married a girl from England who also enjoyed traveling. We have toured from Abiquiu to Athens, from Estepona to Budapest and from Monte Carlo to Corfu. In so many of these places I have found scenes that I wanted to paint, so here are just a few of them. I hope you enjoy my paintings.
